The National Teachers’ Month honors and recognizes the invaluable contributions of teachers across the country.

The month-long NTM celebration, which starts on September 5, and will culminate on October 5, to commemorate World Teacher’s Day as well as National Teachers’ Day.

“Through the NTM Commemorative Stamps, we pay tribute to our beloved teachers who are vital in molding the future of the Filipino youth. It is in school that they spend most of their childhood and adolescence time, studying and learning new things. It is in the hands of the teacher’s to bring these young minds into becoming a responsible and productive citizen of this country”, Postmaster General Luis D. Carlos said.

“We say thank you to our teacher for accepting the hard role of not just being a teacher but also a parent to us. You will continuously be our model. Our inspiration to be good in whatever career we choose in life”, he added.

This year’s National Teachers’ Month Stamp illustrates an image of a teacher empowering learners to develop their full potential to create a better and brighter future for everyone. The stamp centered on the theme: “Pagpapatibay ng mga Guro: Daan sa MATATAG na Kinabukasan.”

Stamps and official first day covers will be available soon at Manila Central Post Office Postal Counter located at Annex Building in Liwasang Bonifacio.
