Visitors from the Universal Postal Union (UPU), Mr. Thakur Subhash Sinha, UPU Field Project Expert for Asia-Pacific, and Ms. Khun Ariya Thongbai, Field Expert from the UPU Regional Office in Bangkok, Thailand, paid a courtesy call to the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) Board of Directors today. They were received by Hon. Stephen C. Cruz, Chairman, and Hon. Ricardo R. Blancaflor, Vice Chairman, along with Board Members Hon. Maura Baghari-Regis, Hon. Wendell V. Dimaculangan, Hon. Noel V. Dacasin, Hon. Ernesto O. Severino, and Hon. Luis D. Carlos, who also serves as the Postmaster General and CEO of PHLPost.
Chairman Cruz extended his deepest appreciation to Mr. Sinha and Ms. Thongbai for their visit and for the continued support of the Universal Postal Union. He acknowledged that the partnership has been instrumental in the growth and improvement of PHLPost and expressed enthusiasm for future opportunities as both parties continue to strengthen their collaborative efforts.
