Sara Vicenta Zimmerman Duterte–Carpio, also known as “Sara Duterte”, was born on May 31, 1978 to former president Rodrigo Roa Duterte and wife Elizabeth Zimmerman. She ran for vice president during the 2022 national elections and was sworn into office last June 19, 2022.
