2019 Commission on Higher Education – Celebrating 25 Years – First Day Cover Envelope

The Philippine Postal Corporation (Post Office) issues stamps in line with the 25th founding anniversary of the Commission on Higher Education with the theme, Celebrating 25 Years Towards Access, Equity, and Global Excellence in Higher Education.

CHED was founded on 18 May 1994 by virtue of Republic Act No. 7722, also known as the “Higher Education Act”. The institution aims to “catalyze a Philippine higher education system that is locally responsive and globally competitive, and serves as a force for lifelong learning, innovation, and social and cultural transformation”.
