Philippine Postal Corporation Chairman and Postmaster General Mike Planas led Mega Manila Post Office employees in offering mail services such as express packages, stamps and other philatelic items for Quezon City residents at the LAB for ALL event organized by First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos held at Risen Garden, Quezon City Hall Complex in Quezon City last August 1, 2024.
Together with Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, various government agency booths were established offering free healthcare services including medical check-ups, dental services, and laboratories, available for public convenience.
“In behalf of the Philippine Postal Corporation, we affirm our strong support to the LAB for ALL initiative to deliver government services as well as medical and health care assistance directly to the Filipinos”, Chairman and PMG Planas said.
The Post Office also presented a special stamp to First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos to celebrate her continuous hard work and dedication to the LAB for ALL initiative. The stamp features President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and the First Lady.
In line with the whole-of-nation-approach of the LAB for ALL Program of our First Lady, one of the integral parts of the initiative is the participation of various national government agencies.
“Maraming salamat sa pagkakataon na makibahagi ang Philippine Postal Corporation sa pagbibigay ng serbisyong handog para sa ating mga QC residents. Isa pong karangalan din para sa akin bilang inyong Tagapangulo at Postmaster General ang maging katuwang sa paglilingkod ng ating Pangulo at ng Unang Ginang sa pamamagitan ng serbisyong handog ng LAB for ALL para sa ating mga kababayan”, said Chairman and PMG Planas.
