The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) in Marawi is currently participating in the Government Services Exhibit being held at the Marawi Convention Center from 18 to 22 August 2025, as part of the 85th Charter Day Celebration of the Islamic City of Marawi.

The week-long celebration, themed “85 Years of Marawi: Honoring Heritage, Celebrating Milestones, Advancing Through Service,” features a diverse lineup of activities that highlight the city’s resilience, heritage, and community spirit.

PHLPost Marawi, led by Postmaster Sittih Hejerrah M. Casan, joined the celebration and participated in the opening program. As part of its exhibit contribution, PHLPost set up a booth that provided information and assistance for applications and renewals of Postal IDs, one of the most widely accepted government-issued IDs. The booth drew interest from residents, including students, professionals, senior citizens, and other members of the community who needed valid identification for various personal and official transactions.

The Government Services Exhibit, where PHLPost was among the participants, gave the public direct access to national and regional government programs, initiatives, and frontline services. PHLPost’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to making postal services more accessible, reliable, and people-centered, while also strengthening collaboration with fellow agencies in support of Marawi’s continuing development and resilience.

Postmaster Casan expressed her support for the city’s milestone celebration and said, “PHLPost Marawi is proud to be part of the 85th Charter Day celebration of our beloved city. Through our services and presence in the Government Services Exhibit, we continue to bring PHLPost closer to the people and support Marawi’s growth and resilience.”

The 85th Charter Day celebration of Marawi not only underscores the city’s rich Islamic culture and heritage but also serves as a symbol of unity, recovery, and progress. With the active participation of government agencies, cultural performers, and the local community, the event successfully brings together diverse sectors in honoring the city’s history and looking forward to its future.
