MAXIMO STA. MARIA III ASSUMES POST AS NEW PHLPOST HEAD
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has appointed former PHLPost Assistant Postmaster
General and Regional Area Director Maximo C. Sta. Maria III as the new Acting Postmaster General and Chief Executive Officer.
The new PHLPost Postmaster General is a veteran management executive having significantly implemented postal strategic program initiatives and quality management reforms and spearheaded the Manila Central Post Office ISO 9001-2015 certification.
He earned a Master’s in Development Management at the Asian Institute of Management and a Juris Doctor degree. He also graduated with honors in Business Administration from the De La Salle-Saint Benilde.
Facing an enormous task, PMG Sta. Maria believes that PHLPost as an institution can innovate by bringing sustainable technology into its system.
Sta. Maria assured the public that PHLPost will stay true to its mandate of bringing affordable postal service, delivering mails anywhere in the country and abroad.
He said, “the postal service should be relevant and vital to the government in providing services to Filipinos here and abroad. It needs to play an active role and rise to the challenges”.
The oath-taking was administered by Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin.
