PRESS RELEASE: PHLPost 25th Corporate Anniversary visible at MMDA LED Billboards

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) joins other Government agency in congratulating PHLPost on the occasion of its 25th corporate anniversary.

The MMDA has provided free LED board placements along Ten (10) strategic locations on the busy stretch of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Metro Manila.

Postmaster General Joel Otarra said that the ongoing partnership with other agencies in government is a welcomed move on the part of PHLPost to synergize, in order to be more effective in serving the Filipino people.

The passing of Republic Act 7354, otherwise known as the Philippine Postal Service Act of 1992 paved the way for the corporatization of then Postal Service Office.

Today, PHLPost continues to maintain its traditional mail delivery services in missionary areas (non-profitable), but has also gone beyond tradition to stay relevant, competitive and still serving the postal needs of every Filipino.

PHLPost dynamic 25th anniversary design and logo will be visible along EDSA during the month-long anniversary.

Meanwhile, as part of the anniversary celebration, PHLPost has partnered with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to provide Satellite Office at Manila Central Post Office, and hopefully in other areas using its vast network of post offices and postal stations in the country. This is expected to provide convenience to the transacting public in obtaining NBI clerances.
