For the Supply of Labor and Materials for the Proposed Repair/ Rehabilitation of Baliwag Post Office, Baliwag, Bulacan (Re-Bidding)

 

The Philippine Postal Corporation, through the CY 2017 Corporate Budget for the contract approved by PHLPost Board of Directors intends to apply the sum of One Million Two Hundred Sixty Nine Thousand One Hundred Eighty Nine Pesos and Six Centavos (PhP 1,269,189.06) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Supply of Labor and Materials for the Proposed Repair/Rehabilitation of Baliwag Post Office, Baliwag, Bulacan (Re-bidding), with the following details:

 

Brief Description        :           1 Lot of Supply of Labor & Materials

                                               

Contract Period           :           Sixty (60) Calendar Days

 

Location                      :           Philippine Postal Corporation, Baliwag Post Office,

                                                Baliwag, Bulacan

 

Prospective bidders must be in the business for at least three (3) years prior to the deadline for submission and receipt of bids.  Bidders should have completed, within three (3) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project.  The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II, Instruction to Bidders.

 

Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.

 

Interested bidders may obtain further information from Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), Philippine Postal Corporation, and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from June 15, 2017 to July 05, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

 

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders from June 15, 2017 to July 05, 2017 at the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Php 5,000.00.

 

The Philippine Postal Corporationwill hold a Pre-Bid Conference on June 21, 2017 at 1:00 P.M., Business Operations Center, 3rd Floor, Post Office Main Building, Liwasang Bonifacio, 1000 Manila, which shall beopen only to all bidders who have purchased the bidding documents.

 

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before July 05, 2017 until 10:00 A.M.  All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount as stated in ITB Clause 18.

 

Bid opening shall be on July 05, 2017 at 1:00 PM, Business Operations Center, 3rd Floor, Post Office Main Building, Liwasang Bonifacio, 1000 Manila. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidder’s representatives who choose to attend at the said address.  Late bids shall not be accepted by the BAC.

 

The Philippine Postal Corporationreserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
